Tacos El Nuevo Chuy (food Truck)

This place is a must if you are looking for some good Mexican food. This place will have you coming back for more deliciousness! I've had almost everything on the menu including the menudo on the weekends and it's delicious!!!

Thanks to Yelp I found this place and as soon as I arrived, I saw the line that was all the way to the door... that's when I knew this was the right spot for lunch after shopping. I ended up going with the Birria tacos and given that it was Tuesday also threw in some one-dollar tacos which surprised me with some flavor (from the meat). There were other options to grab but we were trying to keep it simple as we knew we had dinner plans but man it was hard to resist. The line moves fast and you get a first-hand look at them prepping and cooking. The food was really on point and yes they do have alcohol so I had a corona or two to top off my meal. I'm definitely coming back to this spot whenever I hit up the Harwin spots in the Shopping District area again.

FABULOUS.Birria tacos: SO much flavor. They stuff it with cheese and meat, arguably one of the best tacos I've ever had. 9/10We also got the gorditas to try which were okay, was less flavorful than the Birria tacos. It was kind of dry and just didn't compare to the rest of what we ordered 6/10. Skip this, and just get the tacos.Steak and cheese quesadilla: I saw this beauty on some gentleman's plate and asked what it was because it just looked so darn good. This might have been even better than the tacos, and probably one of the best quesadillas I have ever had. Hard to beat. 9/6/10. GET THIS.Cucumber lemonade: Not entirely sure what this was but it was refreshing and complemented the meal nicely. It was very sweet, which I liked, but if you aren't into super sweet drinks, I would not recommend. 7/10.The service was fast, the workers were very friendly, and the environment was nice and not too loud. If you want some good mexican food, try this place out!

Honestly, after eating some sub-par tacos in NYC...coming to this spot in Texas was definitely a major upgrade. The spft tacos were good, protein weren't dry and were quite succulent. Their birria was hands down, stupid good. I definitely recommend everyone to give this spot a try and I don't think it'll disappoint

I went here on Taco Tuesday after seeing it featured on TikTok. I really enjoyed the tacos i got, they were all $1 so you can get a bunch. They also have deals on drinks and their margaritas are really delicious and pretty strong. The line was really long and seating is kind of a battle on Tuesdays since there are so many people. But you can always get them to go and then if you find seating, you can sit down later. Overall, it's a nice place and I'd definitely recommend
