Red Lion British Pub

Great place for a pint and some pub food. Great warm vibes and friendly staff. We had a lovely evening watching the ballgame and enjoying some fish n chips.

I have lived in Houston for a long time. I must have been hanging out with the wrong people to have not tried the Red Lion sooner. My steak and sides were excellent. Everything cooked appropriately. Service was attentive and appreciated without being cloying. The mushrooms on top of the steak are a surprise flavor enhancement for the steak. I look forward to coming back for Sunday roast and the chicken tikka.Parking: Lot is bigger than it seems. Loops behind restaurant over to Fairview.

Food was good (tacos) just be aware they add a fee to your bill if you don't pay with cash

Not a bad effort. Definite pub feel (except for the booth in one section. Ate at the bar (chicken tikka masala, to add Indian to pub). Good selection of beer, but very cold (fine in Houston). Could do with more alcohol free options, although that is a bit un-pubby.

10/10 highly recommend their fish and chips! Very fast and easy going service
