Pupuseria La Placita

The Food was great! I had the breakfast plate and my husband the steak tacos, everything was delicious and freshly made. It's also so convenient how they have everything Salvadorean in their little market and it's gives people the chance to try new things. People and service was very friendly and attentive, the place really brings me back to memory lane of my country...it may not be Salvadorean my country but it does remind me of Cuba my country which I love!

My cousin, and I stopped there yesterday on a whim, and I ami am so glad we did. That is hands-down, some of the best food I've eaten in Sherman in a very, very long time. The empanadas, and the pupusas are amazing not to mention the cheese bread that they sell, and the chips and plantains and exotic sodas, are all awesome 10 out of 10!!Absolutely recommend!!

Favorite place in town!! People are nice and food is delicious. My favorite is the revuelta pupusas 10/10 everytime especially with the sauce and coleslaw. Super cheap too pay around $12 and still got left overs.

We make the 3.5 hr drive from Waco for the pupusas here. It's a must do when we go to Lake Texoma. They are the BEST pupusas, and the slaw and beans are perfect with them. I love the pork, bean, and cheese pupusas myself. Ver friendly, family owned since 2007.

I've been going here for ten years and it's just gotten better. Their success makes me happy bc they have worked so hard for it.The food is amazing! I usually get a pupusa and a taco both are excellent. And I ALWAYS get an order of fried plantains for dessert. They are so rich and filling I can share an order.
