Had a very long work day, came for good food and ended up with even better service. I was more than pleasantly treated and greeted by a Ms.Kasie, and now, Nickel City is my new spot.

Super great and attentive bartenders, delicious food and proper drinks, really happy this spot is close to home!

If you are looking for a dive bar atmosphere with an updated feel..a total local watering hole....this is the place. Bourbon selection is on point..a Boiler Maker is on the menu...ha.. the staff is super friendly..a total local hang out in Eado..food menu is a bar menu , but is really quite good..drink prices and food are very reasonable, especially for Houston prices..plenty of drink and food specials..and dog friendly..worth a visit. If you live around downtown H-town..you will love the location. Good place to go for a pre-game for Astros ' games.

Welcome to Houston .. Nickel city is a great concept with multiple locations around Texas. Great atmosphere, staff, and food selections. We came in for a late lunch and ended up staying through happy hour.

Walked in to catch an Astros game. Wasn't that busy. Sat at a table near the TV. The bartender was chatting with a woman sitting at the bar. Walked to the bar, waited , waited, and waited. No greeting, no, I'll be right with you. He was too involved with her. We walked out. Come on you need to be better than that.
