Mo' Better Brews

After a weekend filled with seafood and soul food, I woke up on our last morning craving some plant-based meals, and this restaurant came highly recommended. I really enjoyed the atmosphere, especially with the neo-soul music videos playing outside. I ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich, which was absolutely delicious. I also decided to upgrade my side to the truffle hash, but in hindsight, I should have just stuck with the fries. The hash was a bit too greasy and overly complicated for my taste. I also had a cocktail; even though they don’t serve liquor, what I had was quite good and refreshing. The service was attentive, but it seemed like our server was a bit overwhelmed, so we had to wait for a few things, although it wasn’t a huge issue. I would definitely return on my next visit to Houston.

I've visited this restaurant twice now, and I really like it. It's a wonderful spot for the vegan community. The honey mint tea is fantastic! On my most recent visit, I tried the mushroom pizza, which was bursting with flavor. I think they offer free WiFi as well. You can choose to sit inside or outside, but keep in mind that the parking lot can be a bit small, accommodating only around 10-12 cars, which might be an issue at times. Overall, I highly recommend checking this place out!

I stopped here for breakfast because it’s next to my eye doctor. I didn’t know it was vegan until I walked in. Not my kind of thing but I was already there so figured I would give it a try. The coffee was phenomenal! Can’t over emphasize that. The service was very good and my pancake flight was delicious. Cool vibe inside. They sell vinyl and I’m a collector. The one downside is the record I purchased does not play well. My fault for not opening and checking the disk.Parking: Small parking lot

The service and food here is exceptional!! I got the Coltrane Croissant Sandwich (comes with fries) with a mocha cold brew and it was delicious. The sandwich was tasty....a great combination of a very slight spice with a hint of sweetness. The patty was seasoned so well and the fries were perfect- not too crispy and not too soft. Trying to describe the taste isn't possible, you just need to try this sandwich! The seating on the patio was comfortable and relaxing. Our server was super friendly and provided great recommendations on which dishes to try and also other vegan restaurants to try.
