La Crawfish

I was disappointed with my recent experience at a restaurant I had not visited in over four years. Upon entering, I noticed that the tables were covered with plastic party table covers that seemed to be reused. I ordered the surf and surf (although I think it was meant to be surf and turf) with fried shrimp and chicken bites. However, shortly after placing my order, I was informed that they were out of chicken bites. When my food arrived, I had ordered a shrimp poboy with waffle fries (which were a standard part of the meal, not a choice I made). I had requested my poboy with only mayo, extra mayo, and lettuce, but it arrived without any lettuce and with straight-cut fries. When I inquired about the missing lettuce, extra mayo, and waffle fries, the waitress informed me that they were out of lettuce and waffle fries. It took over 5 minutes for the extra mayo to arrive, as the waitress was waiting for someone in the kitchen to provide it. Despite these issues, the shrimp poboy and fries were tasty. Unfortunately, my dining companion ordered wings and large waffle fries, but their wings arrived 15 minutes after ordering and the fries did not come until 25 minutes later, just as we were about to leave. La Crawfish, please improve your service!

The restaurant has recently changed management and the quality has significantly declined. They never answer the phone, even when they are busy. The food is now swimming in old grease, the rice is mushy and gummy, and the seafood is overcooked or reheated multiple times. The new management has not been a positive change. Additionally, the lack of phone answering is a major drawback for me.
