This place had all the amazing traditional Vietnamese snacks, one could ever want .
Located in the Universal Plaza. Watch out for Asian drivers and pedestrians. It's honestly the worst in this plaza. This plaza has lots of parking but sometimes it can get really crowded. People reversing without looking and parking however and wherever they want. Anyways, I always come here for their banh mi. They have all kinds of banh mi but my favorite is the special. They toast the bread before they make it so it's hot. It's relatively cheap ranging from $3-4. Seriously, this place has all kinds of dessert from che to sticky rice. The green and red sticky rice are my absolute favorite. I don't have much of a sweet tooth but the sticky rice has a hint of sweetness so I can usually eat the entire portion. They also have other dried snacks and assorted drinks in the fridge. One down side is that it's cash only! Bummer because I never have cash but when I do, I stop by here. Majority of the workers are Vietnamese who may not speak English too well but shouldn't be a problem if you don't speak Viet. You can just point out what you want. Everyone is friendly.
Rau má drink $7.50 but vẻy light like water and green color.
We came here three times in one week and lesson learned. You have to come early when it is open, they sell out fairly quick.
