Daily Donuts

06/04/2023 Small family owned Breakfast shop. The parking is not huge, but they have a drive through. The inside of the shop is clean and inviting. I've had the Spinach and Feta Croissant a few times. They are delicious. They also have the breakfast sandwiches as you would expect, bacon, egg, cheese, chorizo, potatoe, etc, plus a variety of donuts.

Even if you enjoy their food, the poor customer service is simply unacceptable. I should have received the correct order, not been accused of lying about it. I was so upset that I just wanted to leave, but that was the only money I had for lunch. To make matters worse, he told me not to come back to his store, which won’t be an issue for me. I felt completely disrespected, especially given my past experiences with domestic violence that have left me with PTSD. No one deserves to be treated in such a manner.

I really enjoyed the Chapel Hill sausage kolaches. The staff was also very nice!

I stopped by this donut shop near the airport to kill some time, and it turned out to be a decent option. They offer sandwiches and have a drive-thru as well. It seemed like they only make donuts in the morning, as the display case had limited options with several empty trays. I ordered an apple fritter, which was quite good. It wasn't overly sweet like some places that drown their fritters in glaze. I appreciated that it had a nice, firm texture with some crisp bits. The service was friendly and efficient, making the experience pleasant. The decor was pretty standard for a donut shop. Overall, I would rate the service a 4, the ambiance a 3.5, and the value a solid 4.

I highly recommend stopping by here, especially if you have an early flight! We arrived about 15 minutes after they opened at around 4:45 AM, and we absolutely loved everything we tried. The blueberry cake donut was heavenly, and the chocolate cake donut was still warm and incredibly delicious! The sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit was full of flavor, and the jalapeño boudin kolache was just as tasty! Plus, the owner was really nice! I can't wait to come back again!
