Dac San Pho 79 - Thanh pho Ho Chi Minh

This looked promising but when we got inside the large restaurant was virtually empty. There were more servers than customers and the constant hovering made me uncomfortable. Our waitress and another stood behind us the entire time. The food was bad, so bad that we took a few bites and decided to ask for the check. When the check came they had charged us for 2 extra beers. The manager said he would fix the bill but came back with the exact same amount. The waitresses were looking at us and laughing. So I'm assuming this is a common scam here. We've had a lot of great dining experiences in HCMC, this definitely stood out as the worst.

What an absolute disgrace in a city of wonderful food. To their credit the wait staff were attentive. Our seafood spring rolls are a fried abomonation that such to the teeth. The grilled chicken must have been a 100 year old rooster. So tough he had to hold it in our hands and rip it with our teeth. Our bill was 1.72m dong. For 800k doing the next night we had the seafood buffet at three Saigon Nikko with wine and lobster. Hollow this restaurant rated 4.1 stars is completely beyond me. If i could give a negative rating i would.

A bit pricier than similar places, but eating is surprisingly good and the waiters are friendly

Great place for fine dinning and group meeting. large selection of food and drinks, friendly staves and pgs.

The seafood is also delicious....
