Palm Bay Fish - Thanet

Really tasty and fresh food! The batter on everything was the best we 've had, the chips were very nice but be warned that the portions are very generous, a large portion is very large. The menu was extensive too, there was something for everyone and they had a few unconventional items like battered halloumi. It is cash only which was okay but just keep that in mind as there 's only one small sign to tell you that.

All fresh cooked food. So polite and helpful even when we turned up 15mins before closing time on a Sunday. A little hidden gem

It was a lovely fresh piece of cod and roe, ordered on the phone and ready to collect 10 minutes later.

I cannot fault this place, the fish is always beautifully cooked, proper chips and great service, the rest of the menu is good as well

When they first opened we thought it was just opening months their food would be fantastic and then it would go down hill. I am so happy to say this is not the case. We have recommended to family and friends and all have come back saying the same: Fish cooked perfectly, crispy batter, chips tasty!! I wouldn't get takeaway fish and chips anywhere else sampled all others in area but wouldn't go back to any other than here.
