Fish Inn - Thanet

10 out of 10! TASTIEST cod I have eaten for a long time. Popped in during a visit to Dickens Festival with my friends, who have also written a review. Fish was cooked to order.

We saw many fish and chip shops on our day trip here; however went to the tourist shop (delightful by the way next to Serene Place. She recommended this and I am so pleased I am 54 and it is by far the best that I have ever had and I could have had the OAP meal. Ordered large cod and kids chips and not one complaint. Am very happy to return when I next visit Broadstairs as one of the highlights of the day so thank you and sorry if you thought I was being awkward (I always am :

Despite telephoning the order was made to wait , yet there was no one else in there. The batter on the fish was soggy not crisp chips weren't that hot . Can't recommend I'm afraid.

Great chip shop and great value for money. A large portion of chips is £4 and I challenge a family to eat it. A £4 portion of chips at 'The Star of The Sea ' yards away) would struggle to satisfy one person. Friendly staff and an extensive menu

We have always used the Fish inn in the past (takeaway) and had very good fish and chips with good portions, we have not been for a while and after our meal tonight will not return, portion sizes are tiny and chips would appear to have been reheated , fish batter was soggy and price not cheap , shame , not sure if owners have changed ?
