Charming little country pub... I enjoyed a beer and a quick meal when I arrived in the Coromandel Peninsula.

I visited this restaurant for an evening meal while visiting my sister and brother-in-law. Carl was incredibly friendly, and the entire staff made us feel right at home. The food was amazing—especially the lamb shanks, which I would definitely recommend. I’ll need to come back soon!

The food was delicious, and the steak was outstanding. The "Jelly Tip" cheesecake reminded me of my childhood memories.

We had really good food from the GBD. The service really contributed to our experience too, staff were so friendly, attentive and professional.

We stopped by charming Thames for a short afternoon and decided to get some food here. This bar atmosphere was relaxed and pleasant. The steak which was perfectly cooked and went so well with delicious mushroom sauce. Ribs were tender and meaty, and we liked the pizza as well. The young lady who bar tend and brought us food was very nice. We recommend this place and will come back again to try other dishes.
