Osaka Japanese Steakhouse - Texarkana

This place used to be my favorite. I'm not sure exactly what happened, but it went very downhill. The last few times I have been here, the food was not very good. The service is usually fine. The show they put on can be kind of neat. However, the very last time I went here, I had food poisoning afterward. I have no evidence that I got food poisoning from here, but I never ate anything else that should have been able to give me that. I was sick for a while and lost a bunch of weight. The food isn't good enough for it to be worth going back and trying again. If you want good sushi, go to Fuji Kim's or Hokkaido. I can make better food than they serve at home and I know I won't get sick. The people working there are nice though. I don't have anything bad to say about anything else besides the food.

The food here is outstanding, with generous portions and fantastic staff. A tip: Be sure to ask for the Shane Roll. It may not be listed on the sushi menu, but they can prepare it for you if you request it. It's truly a hidden gem and absolutely delicious!
