Chilango's Mexican - Texarkana

This restaurant is undoubtedly the best in town! The customer service went above and beyond my expectations, the place was impeccably clean, and the flavors of the food were absolutely incredible. I ordered five carne asada tacos for dinner, while my daughter chose a massive quesadilla filled with a variety of cheeses, and our toddler asked for mac and cheese with French fries. It was so delicious that I couldn't even save two of the tacos for lunch the next day! I decided to swap beans for double rice, and they served generous portions of everything. The chips and salsa were incredibly fresh, with a taste that made it feel like they had just been blended right at our table. As soon as we walked in, the bartender welcomed us, and even when I apologized for arriving ten minutes before closing, he told us to make ourselves at home without a second thought. I can't stop raving about all the wonderful things at this place!

The food is excellent, the prices are reasonable, and the service is friendly during lunch hours.

We dined at this restaurant for dinner, and I absolutely loved it! They offer authentic Mexican cuisine (my husband is Mexican, and he gives it his seal of approval), along with a wide variety of vegetarian options. I especially enjoyed the vegetarian quesadilla! The portions are quite generous! When we ordered lemonade, it was served in a charming clay mug that was quite large—around 800ml or more. The interior is beautiful and welcoming, featuring wooden booths and an array of Mexican decorations. The service was outstanding; our waitress was attentive without being overbearing. I even asked for some of my favorite Mexican music, and they gladly accommodated my request! It added a lovely touch to the experience. I will definitely be coming back and will make sure to recommend Chilangos to my friends!

I stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, and I’m so glad I did! If you're looking for authentic Mexican cuisine, I highly recommend trying this place. I ordered the chilango mocajete, and it was made in the traditional style. I was absolutely amazed by the food. It’s top-notch Mexican fare!
