Not worth going. Waited 10 minutes and was never greeted or had my order taken. Watched 2 other couples leave after me without ordering.

Food is great but so hard to get them to answer the phone or even text u back, when u call they forward the call then reply by text. Then when u text back it could take a few hours for a reply and the is a regular occurrence.. I try to order ahead, so I can just pick it up on my lunch.. I’ve eaten here plenty times, and again love the food, but wish they would hire some help to make the business run more smoothly. I know they have missed at least $500 from me alone from missed opportunities..

Food was excellent and the staff was incredibly friendly. BEST chicken fried chicken I have ever had. will definitely be back?

I feel like there's so much deliciousness to choose from! I need to try the drinks! I'll be back to explore other menu items!

Thank you Mr. TJ, for an amazing dining experience! We are still mind blown at the quality and flavors of our lunch. This little gem of a restaurant is clean and efficient. First, I was in awe of the service; I called to check that they were opened for lunch and Mr. TJ texted me their menu ahead of time. The extensive menu made it so hard to decide what to get but we got: gumbo, smothered oxtail with southern greens and candied yams, and chicken wings with cajun fries and cabbage. You can taste the care and passion put into the food. The oxtail was so tender and every bite a flavor explosion. The gumbo was spicy and filling. The wings, crispy and tender, just wonderful! Mr. TJ said some of these recipes have been in his family 4 generations! Every dish tastes homemade, like something your mom or grandma has made. If you're in the Texarkana area, you must stop in! Also, the sweet tea is the best I've ever had and perfect to go with your meal! Thank you for a wonderful meal!
