Cumberland Farms - Tewksbury

This location is poorly maintained. There is trash alongside the outer edges of the parking lot near the air machine (the price to use it went up and it is currently out of order) that hasn't been picked up in months, the fountain drink area is infrequently tended to and the clientele is largely comprised of undesirables who are either homeless, beggars from across the street or from the Motel 6 down the street. However, one of the positives of this place is the staff as they are friendly. I am well aware that they cannot control who shops here and I obviously cannot blame them for the high gas prices either but this place could use some better management. I've been to Cumby's that are ran smoothly and efficiently and unfortunately, this isn't one of them. It is sad because this location was pristine at one point but it looks like those days are gone.

Friendly employees and usually a quick stop for premade sandwiches for breakfast and lunch. It's a daily stop for me.

This store has improved a lot. Keep in mind if you went during the pandemic chances are it affected the store and made stuff limited. However, they have been fully reopened since then. The new manager there is running it well so if you had a bad experience before keep in mind you were dealing with a different person. They are normally 24/7 it's just if there are staffing issues they seem to limit that while they look for staff again. I noticed this when the past few times they weren't 24/7 and then reopened there would be a new person working there. So if you go there and its not 24/7 just be patient. There are workers who don't even give managers a two week notice for them to find someone. Overall it's a great store to go to. If you sign up for their app you can save money on gas, food and get coupons for select items.

The staff is great the only reason for the 3stars is bc on nights they close (Saturday and Sunday) they say they are suppose to open at 6 am but they have select few staff that fail to show so the single team member is forced to open later and this latest week the open hours are 9am -7pm why even open at that point and from what I’m told the manager is in at five how are you in at five but you don’t open till nine. Unless you’re not in at five like you say you are can someone bring Barbara from Wilmington to show ppl how it’s done right. She should be your go to manager to train managers for she gets shir done. And mind you being the great manager she is she opens her store at 3 AM because she knows her customers love their coffee and you would think that would be the most crucial time for the Tewksbury store to open as well especially seeing as they are off the highway if anything they should’ve opened earlier and closed earlier rather than doing 9-7 I do want to recognize some staff Jason Amber Nina Heather and I wish I knew the gentleman’s bane that works second shift he’s talking and a bit stalky (he is one of the oldest team members there) when I come in they are always welcoming

Great staff! Clean, new, spacious with lots of snacks and drinks inside. Cheap prices. Their air machine was broken for a LOOOOONG time so I had to knock off a star for that. Does it really take over a month to fix? It works now as of this writing. The rewards app is great. I get tons of free drinks and $0.10 off a gallon. Payment is faster too.
