Old Yellowstone Garage - TETON VILLAGE

Our experience at this restaurant was quite strange. We were the first table to be seated, but despite ordering promptly after arriving, we did not receive our food until almost an hour later. Our kids were hungry and we noticed that the table next to us, who also had kids, was experiencing the same issue. The staff explained that the kitchen was overwhelmed, but we found this unacceptable as we were the only two tables to arrive in the first 30 minutes of the night. The food was okay, but the great ambiance and good drinks were overshadowed by the disappointing service. It was clear that this place is poorly managed.

The restaurant has a warm and inviting atmosphere and the food is amazing. We tried the focaccia, radicchio, bison stew, paparadelle, and corzetti and would highly recommend any of them. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, exceeding our expectations for the evening. Thank you OYG for a wonderful dining experience!

I randomly found this restaurant after skiing and it was an amazing experience. The staff, especially Nico, our bartender, was fantastic. Nico was incredibly friendly and had great recommendations. I couldn't have asked for a better bartender. I will definitely be returning the next time I am in town skiing, and hopefully Nico will still be there!

My friends and I had a great time at OYG for happy hour. The drinks were amazing, thanks to Nico, the bartender. He was friendly, professional, and made us the best cocktails we've ever had. I'm usually very particular about my drinks, but Nico made me the most delicious mango margarita that I'll never forget. If you're looking for great drinks, be sure to visit Nico at OYG and try the mango margarita!

The food was ok. Some of it was delicious (the bucatini, Caesar salad , and some of it was under seasoned (mushroom ravioli, risotto. I was also disappointed because I ordered the lava cake, and the chocolate bit in the middle was completely solid. The real reason I gave 2 stars was because the service was terrible. Yes, we were a large party, but it took us 3 hours to eat 3 courses. The waiter (tall African-American man often forgot about parts of our order, and he rarely checked on us. It got especially bad when a celebrity walked in and he catered to her attentively. It was a massive disappointment because all other restaurants we have eaten at in JH have been phenomenal.
