Boomerjack's Grill - Terrell

This restaurant has incredible food, especially the Backyard Burger, and their onion rings and fried pickles are delicious! It’s never crowded, which honestly puzzles me. It's Terrell's best-kept secret. Everything I’ve tried has been great, except for the Monte Cristo.

The speakers at the sports bar kept cutting in and out, and since the Cowgirls weren't playing at the time, that was really the only positive aspect of the place. Our food arrived cold, and by the time the waitress checked on us, we were already ready to leave. The burger would have been delicious if it had been warm, and the fries looked great but were also served cold. I won't be coming back.

We walked in and waited over six minutes—possibly longer—without being served. Two other groups arrived after us and received service before we did. Despite sitting right across the bar, it took a while for someone to finally acknowledge us. Ultimately, we left without eating. Unfortunately, this has been our experience each time we've visited; the service is consistently poor. However, the food is quite good.

Started off slow which kinda put me off but you should never expect the best service when a restaurant is slow. Waitstaff will not be at the top of their game. Got better by the time the food arrived. The menu offered only a few hamburger choices. Mostdouble meat ?smash? patties. Price with fries lead to think these would be 2 thin patties that would make you wonder why youdidn?t just go fast food. Wrong! These were 2 juicy, thick in-house-made burgers and a healthy side of fries. Wife got theLouisville chicken sandwich. Lightly battered, juicy tender breast meat also made in-house. We would order both anytime. Wishthey had one of these restaurants in Houston. Service ended up great also. Really enjoyed the stop.
