I met up with a friend in Terrebonne and we decided to try out a Mexican restaurant she recommended. When we arrived, we stood at the door for a while without anyone acknowledging us. The bartender and waitress seemed too preoccupied to notice us. Eventually, my friend suggested we just sit down since no one seemed to care. After some more waiting, the waitress asked if we had reservations and then informed us that the restaurant was full for the night. I understand that the restaurant is popular, but the lack of communication and acknowledgement from the staff made the experience unpleasant. A sign indicating that the restaurant was full or a hostess to greet us would have made a difference. The staff's indifference really ruined the experience for us.
Celebrated my husband's birthday here. We rented out the restaurant and were approximately people. Everything was wonderful. Great service, food and drinks. Authentic Mexican experience!
I had heard mixed reviews about this restaurant and I was very excited to try it. I was pleasantly surprised, as this place an authentic mexican feeling to it, but witouth being loud and tacky. You can still party here as they offer ..Margaritas the size of your head, but the vibe is more quiet and romantic than most mexican restaurants in Quebec. It is situated in beautiful Old Terrebonne, not very far from the theater or l'Îles des Moulins. Everything we tried tasted amazing. We had the table d'hôte menu which we started with the sopes and the tostada, which were both very good. This place is not cheap so don't expect taco bell prices, but the food is tasty, the service is good and the location is great. Therefore I will surely be back and highly recommend it to any real mexican food lover out there.
I never would have imagined finding a fantastic authentic Mexican restaurant in Boucherville. The drinks and cocktails were excellent, but the highlight was definitely the delicious food. Made with fresh ingredients and a love for cooking, this restaurant is a top choice for dinner. It's best enjoyed with a large group, as it can get a bit loud, especially when the mariachi singer makes an appearance. He comes around once a month and adds a charismatic touch to the dining experience, even taking song requests.
