Texas Roadhouse - Terre Haute

I visited terre haute for the weekend, with a group, and we had dinner at the texas roadhouse. I ordered the six ounce sirloin, good. it came well done and almost dry. I kind of ate it. a friend ordered another steak, and it was not cooked as he wanted. he sent it back and it seemed to have arrived about 20 minutes before the replacement. the rest of the group was ready to go until then. but the server was great. (I was in several other street houses, in other states, and it seems like the results were the same. I might go to longhorn or another steakhouse.

Great food and great service. Have eaten there too many times to count and the meal was perfect every time.

We have a group of four here. in the waiting list on the line said about 25 minutes lasted about 15 and she text saying table was ready. the restaurant was clean and it was a great friendly environment. our waitress was great that she regularly checked to make sure everything was good and drink where still good. the food came out quickly and everything was fantastic.

In the 6 people in our party was the only one that was satisfied with their eating the 9 mo old baby (only had smeared kartoffels.) a steak was completely well made and burned (they ordered medium) and 3 others were totally undercut and even completely rare if one should be medium and the other medium. when we asked for one of the media to be replaced, the medium was even worse and a smaller steak size (we have said our waiter.) at this point we tried and got the shook and they did not even compensate for the steak. the fried pickles we ordered were super dry and cooked after it came out far after our meal. on the way out we could even see other waiters who commanded to screw up. besides the terrible eating experience, the waiting staff was completely understanding and amazing. they seemed just as upset about the confused commands and tried their best to work with customers. really disappointed over the whole experience, but hopefully was only a fuke tonight. none of us is the way to complain and most of us are actually working in the food industry at the moment, so we tried to be as much understanding as possible, but texas roadhouse really missed the bar today.

The place was really busy. we have a table. we ordered a starter and it was really good. roll where hot and fresh. our main rib was not cooked well. it had a funny taste and was really cheesy. the sides were great. I wouldn't recommend getting the main rib.
