Rick's Smokehouse Grill - Terre Haute

Will never eat there again. We had tips pulled pork and brisket over half was fat and cold.Staff never checked on us once but checked on the table behind us 3 times. Won't be going back.

Everything about this place is great. The food is top notch wonderful BBQ. Tender and juicy meat with your choice of any of their delicious BBQ sauces. All the sides are great too. The restaurant is clean with a fun decor and the staff is friendly. We will come back next time we are in town!

We went there twice. The first time the portions were nice and the sauces were outstanding! My hubby and I enjoyed the brisket very much. I bought a bottle of Rick 's Sweet Heat sauce home to CT with us, it was that good. Driving back East the next year we stopped there again. I Had tried to order the sauce online, I even emailed the restaurant, but no one responded, which I thought was strange. Don 't they want the money? Anyway, I stood by the counter to tell the girl there we would be dining outside with our dog (which we had done the previous year). She was standing there, chatting away with another staff member and when I asked for her attention she actually waved her hand as if to say wait! . Upset, I just grabbed the sauces, put them on the counter and told her I wanted to pay. Don 't they want the money? It is obvious there is something wrong here. Oh, and as I looked around (having plenty of time for it, since she was chatting away while the customers waited) I noticed the portions were smaller than the year before. The sauce is still one of the best I had, but I am not coming back for more.

Took my young son in, and the ladies working the drink station gave him lemonade free of charge and was very kind to him ?? Parking: The parking lot has had an upgrade, very nice ?.
