Good basic Portuguese food, including a nice stew. The vegetable soup was delicious, as were the meat selections others in our party had. Good ambience, slow service only because there was only one person on duty.

Tipical food from this side of Portugal Minho). Good wine also from the north of Portugal. You must try the Cod and all the meat !

Eat here as staying and without transport. Started badly with starter already on the table smoked sausage and a few bits of cheese with dry (stale) bread. We were charged for this. Soup starter was tasty and seemed freshly cooked. Stews only available at weekends so we had fried seabass and baked ? veal (tough) with inevitable cabbage salty potatoes and token rice. White wine v good but unhappy service (arguments going on in background) and not a great meal.

I had the dourade (sea bream) and it was grilled to perfection! My girlfriend had the veal cutlet and enjoyed it a lot. It was cooked medium rare without asking, which is just fine! Both meals were accompanied by the same potatoes and vegetables. Very simple, honest and enjoyable! We also had some antipasta for starters and a bottle of local green wine. 38€ for everything.
