A bad example of portuguese food and portuguese costumer service. The food took too long to be served, no entries presented and an overall desorganized staff. The only positive thing about this place is the balcony where you can smoke a cigarrette at the end of a disappointing meal. We shall never return.

We stopped here for lunch on our way up the mountain to the Geres National Park. A sign had been posted saying that the 'ATM was out of order '. This meant no credit card sales only cash. I had a veal chop with 'punched potatoes ' and greens. It was quite tasty and I was happy with the food. My companion ordered a side salad with his meal but the salad never arrived. Customers on an adjacent table were also complaining about food orders being missing. When we had finished our meal, we had to ask three different members of staff for the bill, and still had to wait a long time for it. It was a public holiday, so the restaurant should have expected an increased level of visitors. But they ran out of food and were turning away people at the door. And the restaurant wasn 't even busy.

A rustic restaurant with the tipical taste of portuguese food. Recommended the good meat of the region
