L'antico Borgo - TERNI

We popped in here after visiting Marmore falls about 7 8 mins away. Arrived at about 1pm on a Tuesday, and it had plenty of tables available for us two adults, one 4 year old and an 18 month old. Adults had fried calamari, which was delicious nicely salted, and the right mix of crunchy and soft. Kids had tomato and pasta, which they liked. One word of warning no English menus, but one member of staff was able to translate for us.

Che dire senza parole con molti complimenti, posto raffinato. Ottima materia prima e ottima cura della stessa. Personale cordiale e disponibile. Da provare assolutamente. Se torniamo, sarà tra le nostre destinazioni preferite.

Abbiamo prenotato in anticipo e siamo passati, abbiamo pranzato in modo divino; il servizio è stato ottimo e i piatti erano presentati in modo eccellente. Torneremo subito.

Me and my wife went to Antico Borgo for our anniversary. All very good except that our primo was not served together. This is unacceptable for a table of two. The Antico Borgo antipasto was very good and the prices fair. Ambiance OK, the service, except for the incident mentioned above, was good. Paying the bill, the coffee was on the house, which I assume was to compensate for the inconvenience.

This was our 5th time there, in between our back and forth to the USA. We love this place. Mr. Maurizio has been always very welcoming and helpful with the right suggestions! Thank you!
