The Rosebud Pub - Tendring

The service at this restaurant is fantastic. The staff is very polite. The food is amazing and the view from their back garden is breathtaking. This place deserves a perfect 5-star rating.

This restaurant offers fantastic food at very reasonable prices, using locally sourced ingredients. The fish dishes are exceptional, sourced from a nearby fishmonger. The Mersea oysters served with a tequila shot as a starter are delicious and reasonably priced (3 oysters for £6.50). The roasted pigeon breast with parsnip mash was perfectly cooked. I highly recommend dining here. The chef, Mat Lucania, brings experience from top London kitchens and has a vibrant and effective influence on the menu.

The restaurant offers a great selection of pub food with daily specials that are always changing. They also have a good variety of ales on tap.

An absolute hidden gem! visited with friends after a recommendation and it was not disappointed. great eating, fantastic attentive staff. really reasonable prices, nice looking at the back and so much choice on the menu. I can't wait to go back. very recommended...allin

Wow the food was just excellent and brilliant service to fit. they enjoy a beautiful start with friends, the personal looked at us well. great value for money I would really recommend a visit!
