High Street Cafe - Tendring

Nice food , but had to wait 40 minutes for it, cafe not that busy, cook obviously only cooks one order at a time

We popped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning and what a fantastic time we had. The food was absolutely amazing and the team was great too. We even went back on the Sunday and it was even better. This is a great cafe and needs more support as they deserve it!

Just returned from a weekend in Walton and myself and 4 friends had breakfast here 2 days on the trot. The quality of the ingredients were spot on we all agreed how we judge a breakfast by the sausage and Bacon which on this occasion were spot on . Back Bacon and a butchers choice sausage not one of those that you question if it actually comes from a pig . The breakfast was presented nicely like someone actually took pride in what they served even the plates all matched and they had bubble squeak Last but not least was the waitress who had a happy pleasant manner and really made the visit. Rest assured this will not be our last visit

The food and coffee were lovely here however we waited quite a long time for our food. This wouldn’t normally be a problem at all however whilst waiting I needed the toilet but they don’t have one! Very surprised that a table service restaurant does not have a single toilet. The nearest public toilet is about a five minute walk away, not ideal if you’re there with small children or someone who cannot walk fast. Unfortunately this would put us off returning

I had a great meal at this restaurant. I ordered a roast dinner, which was delicious overall. The only thing I could fault was the roast potatoes - they weren't as crispy as I prefer, but that's just a personal preference. I would definitely recommend checking this place out.
