Dukes - Tendring

I had fish and chips on Saturday and it was excellent. The restaurant was very busy, but the staff made every effort to serve us as quickly as possible. They were very attentive and apologized for any delays due to the high volume of customers. I will definitely be visiting again.

We visited this restaurant for Sunday lunch and ordered the fried bun followed by two desserts. The food was outstanding and beautifully plated. The staff were extremely courteous and accommodating. I would highly recommend this bistro to others.

My partner and I first visited this place for tea and cake. The service was good, and they had a nice selection of cakes. On another night, we tried the bistro and had a fantastic meal with great service. They had about six appetizers and entrees, along with a few specials. There were also plenty of dessert options. I had the tender and lean lamb, while my partner enjoyed the crispy and flavorful duck. The food and service were both excellent.

Six of us went here for lunch after doing water sports at the centre nearby. The food was excellent and so was the service. of us had the roast lamb and chicken and had vegetable wellington. I had the quiche salad and chips....Everything is home made. Fully recommend.
