The 130 Club - Tenafly

This had to be the easiest 5 stars I could ever give a restaurant. I had the opportunity to visit 130 Club on my birthday and it was exactly as I've heard, incredible. Upon arrival my wife and I were greeted warmly. We were seated and our server was informative and professional but most importantly she was friendly. I hope to see her again during our next visit because she and the host up front really helped me to enjoy my birthday and this restaurant experience. The food was just perfect. My Tomahawk steak came out at the temperature I requested, and was flavorful with a perfect crust. The oysters were fresh. The mac and cheese was creamy and you could tell the recipe for this mac was something the chef thought about. I'm often underwhelmed by a mac and cheese but NOT HERE! I actually just had some of the left over dessert which triggered me to leave this review. Even after sitting in my fridge for two days the dessert was a hit. I'm thoroughly impressed at the level of this restaurant right here 10 minutes away from me in Tenafly, NJ. I look forward to my return!

From the ambiance, the food, the music, the cocktails, The 130 Club is an absolute experience. Yesenia was my server and she was honestly the best server I?ve ever had the privilege of being waited by. She was knowledgeable, personable, made great recommendations, took the time to get to know us, she definitely made the experience a lot more special. I 10/10 recommend!

As someone who lives in the city it was an amazing experience to be able to go out to dinner in my hometown that was on par if not above that expectation. The ambiance, food, and our server Jin we?re all excellent. The French dip sandwich and burger were spectacular but everything we ate was delicious. Truly was blown away to have a meal like this in Tenafly.

The 130 Club in Tenafly, NJ is an amazing dining experience. It starts with valet and ends with a big bill. The steaks are seasoned well for a great flavor. The 10 hour, slow roasted prime rib will melt in your mouth. The wine selection is excellent with three cabs from Napa alone. Most truffle mac and cheese is really heavy and tends to fill you up. The 130 mac and cheese is really light and doesn't take away from your ability to finish the meal. Service is amazing. Timing is perfect and makes for an enjoyable night out.

Went to the 130 on a recommendation. It was not just any restaurant, it was an experience. From the moment we walked in to the first bite of food. Divine. The decor was very cool. The bookcase opening to another room. Felt like we were out in a secret place. The food was out of this world. We had the steak tartar and Salmon crudo to start. Both tasted amazing. The prime rib was delicious. We couldn't get enough. Another fabulous addition is the owner. He walks to each table and greets you. Makes you feel welcome and tells you about the place. He had a great personality and was exactly what you need when you go some where new. Highly recommend if you are looking for something different and unique with delicious food.
