Donut Shop - Temple

We decided to give this restaurant a try last month on a whim. While the exterior could definitely use some improvement, the girl at the window was very friendly. The donuts were a good size, and the Long John was fantastic. However, the kolaches were truly the highlight! The downside is that I tried to return today, and although their website says they're open, I've waited an hour and a half with no sign of life. If you're going to advertise specific opening hours, it's essential to stick to them; otherwise, you risk losing customers. I usually spend around $30 when I visit for my kids, so I'm feeling pretty disappointed right now.

I looked through the reviews, and they really hit the mark! The kolaches are incredibly fresh, fluffy, and tasty. I just wish I had discovered this place earlier. The prices are excellent as well!

The dude servicing at the window is consistently rude when he is asked questions about freshness of donuts and the receipt doesn't itemize prices. The only price is a total price.When I ask him why the prizes are not being shown for each product and he is rude/shows bad attitude.The donuts taste good.

I'm taking away a star, since the new guy started there I've gotten donuts that taste like they were fried in old oil. My doughnut holes have been like bitting into oil. Our cake doughnut I asked for iced and it was plan and SO Greasy we couldn't even eat our cheat day doughnut. They place used to be my go to place and now it's like it depends on the day. I love the kolashes still.
