Starbucks - Tempe

This location is right behind my house, and I always order from here when I'm in the mood for Starbucks. My order was handled by several different staff members during my visits, and each one was friendly, helpful, and great at making small talk. I would give it 4 stars, though, because more often than not—actually, nearly every time—the bag for my spinach feta wrap has come open. That's a bit frustrating since I always go for the same thing.

That died worstucks I've been there before. they put on people who can't make a basic math. order a drink that costs $8.05 hand them $10.05 they gave me $1.85 someone named there said he could not open the register anymore and give me the right change. Don't come here. they are terrible. service is sucked and there is an idiot. good work, people who cannot make any basic mathe dieucks. that was by far the worst deaducks I had ever lived in my life.

Don’t bother going in the afternoon constantly mess up orders. Zoe was at the window, incredibly condescending and rude when they had to correct my order TWICE. It’s already incredibly frustrating that I have to wait and have them correct it twice then to get a condescending attitude. She lied to my face about how the drink was made even though I saw the guy make it the second time and I told her I could see him since she lied to me. Not to mention when I ordered coconut milk once and they gave me regular milk…. A whole separate occasion btw. I keep trying to give this place a chance because I know we all make mistakes and at least they were nice about it previously and just corrected it. But the girl Zoe really sealed the deal. Lied straight to my face and was incredibly condescending. There’s no need for that.

The staff is usually made up of ASU students who are very friendly. However, some items on the menu are quite pricey for their portion sizes; for instance, a small bottle of orange juice costs $4! The background music is often quite unusual as well. On a positive note, the Wi-Fi signal is strong and can even be accessed from the parking lot. Not all tables have access to electrical outlets for charging devices, so be sure to come with a fully charged phone, tablet, or laptop if the seating is full. There is a section with electrical outlets that are out of order, and when I asked the manager about it, he confirmed they were not working but didn’t mention if they would be fixed. I've been visiting for a few months, and they still remain broken! The place is very clean and well-maintained, but the restrooms are locked, and you have to ask for access, which makes me feel like I'm in kindergarten!

My favorite spot in Tempe! I visit almost every morning, and the staff is incredibly friendly. I've never had an issue with my order. Great job by everyone!
