Contribuiți la feedbackPreviously we visited Serrano?s in 2007/2008 when the situation was Dobson/Guadalupe. we haven't been there for a long time and decided to go to the site in Rural/Guadalupe. it was very disappointing. it looked like the entire personal (or at least the in the es pane) were all under 21 and very inexperienced at the server and/or customer service. our server had her name sign on the head, and that was as our visit went. my man asked for a menu item he used to enjoy, and it was served only during lunch. it is something that would have been very easy to prepare, unless everything on the dinner menu is prefabricated, and in my opinion would be a good server, at least say that?s usually served only for lunch, but let them see what I can do?. so, even if the answer is no, she looks like a hero to even ask if we could get a dish customized. it is just a kind of snowball from there with missed locations to show us that even if Serrano?s no longer in its tip, at least the service could be great. as far as eating is concerned, it seems to be an average now. I had the Steak chicken Fajitas, and they lubricated like a TV dinner version, sad. I thought the sangria was at least good, but it was too strong for a sangria, and I had to water it off.
Good Mexican cuisine in this small local chain. bohnentauchgang is served the chips for every table, and they have a good selection of Mexican clips, including some seafood.
We came in to enjoy some authentic Mexican food. The queen had made the executive decision for Mexican and I agreed and stated let?s do Serrano?s as it?s right down the street from where she lives. We were certainly not disappointed! Our arrival time was 815p with no reservations. Being that it was a Monday, we both understood that this place would be closing soon (9p). The host realized our hesitation of not wanting to bother them right before they closed but he shot that down real quick with ?nonsense, please have a seat and we?ll take real good care of you!? We chose to sit at the bar and Manual was tending it. I noticed before we sat that he was already doing his nightly closing down routine (which I have no problem with. Even serving staff like him have families to go home too) but he never hesitated to help us and I appreciate him more than he knows for not rushing us. Little did he know that we were of industry and we were gonna rush ourselves. We left at 905p. We were quick and decisive with our order. I got the Del Mar platter which was moderate, unfortunately it did not wow me. She had the machaca quesadillas plate. (Both pictured below). The service was friendly and quick! Thank you Manuel and staff for the cool experience. PRO TIP: the margarita was too sweet for my taste but that?s just what you get with a marg. As a resolution, try requesting for your bartender/server top it off with one of their three handles of draft beer. I chose the DOS xx Amber. Sooooooo tasty!
Great spot lots of locals. As a business traveler I just stopped in for lunch. Hot and fresh! Great chips and good salsa. Very friendly staff. Food was fresh and very tasty. I just had a lunch special with the two tacos. Very good and would repeat.
Great food, affordable price. has not been with a serrano for years, but the quality of eating has not changed. a beautiful place.
