This special place said that the dining area was closed (after) I bought a meatball sandwich, I came 8:45 15 minutes later I rcvd my sandwich, I asked if I could dip in? The lady said we closed 9: 1:00. Move? I'll never go back!
The service was quite slow. Two different employees noticed me waiting for my order but didn’t say anything. Eventually, someone came from behind and said she was there to assist me, but then another employee, who was on her phone, ended up helping me. They even complained about another staff member who had called in. I wasn’t given any information about the long wait either. The food was fantastic, but the customer service left a lot to be desired.
He was hoping for a better experience. The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated and well-furnished. The sandwiches were tender but had an excessive amount of mayo, making them difficult to eat. However, they were generously filled with meat. They also offer salads and a children's menu.
OMG prices, $2 more per sandwich than any other Firehouse I have visited (I am from FL). The Large Smokehouse (that I used points to buy) was light on meat, absent lettuce and tomato, and the bread was cracking (dry and hard). They also had run out of some meats, and Sweet Tea. Though it was more likely the employees (nearing the end of shift) didn?t want to Slice/Prep the meat or make more tea. I also listened to two female employees, one on the clock, having a conversation (gossiping) about other women and their periods. Not that people can?t have the freedom of free speech, and talk about real issues; but people are eating. And this directly reaffirms my thought that you just didn?t have the work ethic to make sweet tea or prep more meat.
