Town Square Cafe - Tellico Plains

Amazing place with welcoming people. We loved the place, and the food was great! I had salmon patties, Brussels sprouts, sweet potato, with a baby vegie omlet. Wife had a veggie omlet with hash brown. And the Bisquits! Oh, my! Dinner was very reasonable at $21 for both of us.

We were in Tellico and tried them and ate breakfast there 3 days in a row. The decor is dated but with homey southernness. The benches could be reupholstered, and the menus could be newer, but you won't find a better breakfast in Tellico Plains or surrounding areas. The owners are great and very friendly and the freshly grated hash browns are the best I've had.

If you look at the outside of this place, you can drive right past. If you are smart, you will stop one of there many omelets and enjoy. We all agreed a little bit ashamed inside, but the breakfast omelets were the best we ever had. The cookies were also very delicious. Our waiter (may have been owner) was good and food came quite fast. The pastries look good, but the omelets were simply enough to avenge us. I think they were three eggs. So a great place to breakfast in Tellico Plains!

They crushed ice and sell it from the 10lb bag for very cheap. Your sweet tea is delicious. Breakfast was amazing and the Hash Browns were phenomenal! The staff was very friendly.

My favorite place to drive! Everything is excellent (try the pizza! and the atmosphere is exactly what you want when you visit a small town in TN. The staff is so friendly and even if they are busy, take a moment to chat with you while filling your order. We often go there to get away.
