Dairy Queen - Tell City

On July 24, 2022 we were in the drive thru line a little after 7:35pm. When we got up to give our order, it just turned 8pm. They did not take our order nor did anyone tell us they closed at 8pm. After waiting 12 minutes, we drove up to the window andwatched them hide from us instead of telling us they were closed and not taking our order. There was another car behind us alsothat was there before 8pm.

This is the best Dairy Queen in Owensboro. We drive out of our way to eat at this one because the food is always hotter and the fries crispier! It always seems to be staffed by adults instead of teens, so maybe that makes the difference. Plus, I like thehome-y, retro atmosphere.

Messed up order and proceeded be rude after I said I'm going to check again. Also I asked if they still served the salted carmal truffle. They said they did. I reserved plain chocolate ice cream with chocolate truffles. And a former employee of thislocation of 4 years im very disappointed in the staff dairy queen has recruited. It never fails every time I come the employeesare rude and seem to be to busy flirting then taking care of there customers. What happened to service with a smile??????????Also just a reminder if the ice cream is runny your supposed to wait 60 seconds so that it can freeze for the next one not serveliquid. The GM before would have been very disappointed.

First going here and the food was really good, it was hot and fresh. The service was already very friendly and nice. The place was clean and not very busy. We did not have to wait long for our food. I had the grill chicken sandwich and my son had the chicken strip basket, both were really good. We got the meals with fries and drinks, it was around $14, so not too bad. I do recommend going here and I will be back

Drive through was pretty fast and employees were kind. BBQ sauce was a little spicy for my 5 yr old grandson. And if I had any hopes of a suggestion to DQ it would be to invest in one of those machines where you have every drink product. The Sierra Mist definitely doesn't compare to Sprite.
