Very nice Sunday lunch. Waitresses were lovely, although the bar man was a bit sullen looking and not very welcoming. Food was delicious.

Lovely meal, beef cooked to my liking (pink) proper roast pots, good veg, excellent gravy. Try the Shropshire Lad, grear beer, kept well good flavour.

Had our local pubs Christmas party last night. Food drinks and service was excellent, very reasonably priced.

This upscale bar in Newport was quiet when we visited on a Saturday evening. The atmosphere could have been better, but we will give it another try.
