Very nice Sabich. Is likely to have my meals for most of my days in Tel aviv.
There is a reason why there is always a line outside Sabich Frishman. Not to be confused with the falafel counter that shares a wall, Sabich Frishman serves some amazing sabich, perfect for when you wander around Tel Aviv. From fresh salads to herbs to eggplants to eggs to sauces to pita where everything is housed, this place will blow you away. For the uninitiated, you can also have a “chatzi manah” half part (which is a bit more than half of the normal order), but it is a big entry point if you are just looking for a lighter order. 10/10!
Frischman is a few street food stands with Pita sandwiches, and you can choose between falafel on the left or sabich on the right! Her sabich menu looked more fascinating to me, so I swore to the right and ordered the half sabich with hummus cheese. The Pita sandwich was an artwork. It was layered with numerous different sauces such as hummus, tahini, amba and chili crabs, along with various salads (cabbage, tomatoes, herbs, onions) and comminuted feta cheese. But of course a Sabich would not be sabich without fried eggplant and egg, and the colorful combination broke out of the Pita in a beautiful shape. The sandwich was built on a perfectly soft, chewing, fluffy Pita bread, and you can help yourself at the switch to numerous different pickles to go with the sandwich!
Delicious Sabich (order without egg) and delicious Falafel balls. Updated by previous rating on 2023-03-12
