Sad and unpleasant. Redeemed only slightly by long suffering staff. Not really sure how it stays in business other than it happens to be on a tourist route

The woman was so rude... Do not stop . This is a a real mood spoiler. Sad, angry, despicable person.

I wanted to provide an updated review from my previous one. Although we had stopped coming here for a few years due to the unpleasant service, the food has always been delicious and the restaurant is consistently clean. Our go-to choice is the bacon, lettuce, and tomato sandwiches, which are made with high-quality bacon and are served beautifully with a side of garnish and some crisps. During our annual visit to Cornwall in June, we dined here twice and found the service to be much friendlier. The outdoor seating area offers a peaceful view of meadows, and you can even bring your dog on a leash for a quick break. I believe the current rating is underrated, so I would recommend giving it a try. It is hard to find a better place to enjoy a meal, a cup of tea or coffee, and some cake.

Lovely food in a beautiful setting. Freindly and attentive staff. We had full English breakfast which was very good. We will be returning.

Just stopped for a brief coffee break. Stunning location. No complaints with the coffee and smoothie I ordered the lady serving brought a glass of water without me asking. Nice alternative to stopping at the Starbucks just down the road.
