This restaurant was a huge disappointment. We waited a long time before anyone acknowledged us, despite the place not being busy—there was only one other diner while we were there. The food was subpar as well; I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich that lacked any spice and came on a stale bun. The slaw was not only unappetizing but also super sticky. My husband had a burger, and he remarked that the meat had an off taste. We didn’t bring any of our concerns to the staff because no one bothered to check on us. The service was quite poor; I even had to go to the counter to process my payment. The other customer dining at the same time left a lot of his food uneaten and also had to stand around looking for someone to settle his bill. However, the atmosphere was somewhat pleasant, so I gave it a 3 out of 5. Unfortunately, I won't be returning.

Karen, the owner (and yes, despite the name, she is fantastic), was incredibly warm and welcoming. She engaged us in friendly conversation, and it felt like we were instant friends. The food was exceptional. My friend ordered a large omelette that was delicious, while I enjoyed a bagel topped with capers and smoked salmon—the salmon was delightful. The bagels are freshly made on-site, as I suspect is true for everything on the menu. I had to resist glancing at the dessert counter, which was overwhelmingly tempting! This restaurant isn't just about satisfying your hunger; it's an experience to cherish. I absolutely loved it!
