A road side staple. Nothing fancy, but a clean unpretentious restaurant, serving lager portions of good food, with friendly professional service. Menu specials are written daily on a chalkboard. Parking can be tight during busy times.

Great portions of food. Good quality food that tastes good too. Consistent quality of food and service are reasons that people continue to frequent the Whistling Kettle.

All you can eat perch dinner on Friday is a good value and great perch. Nothing fancy, but food was good and nice to find an all-you-can-eat for a a fair price. Decor could use updating, but food is good. Great breakfast also.

French toast should be called French bread. Wasn't even cooked, no egg on it at all. Just bread with cinnamon. Last time I will ever eat there!!
