El mezquite - Tecate

It is a good place, the breakfast buffet is really good. I don't understand how it can be closed on Mondays, not even for breakfast for hotel guests.

Pleasant restaurant and motel. Sparsely decorated. Service good. Had Sunday brunch which had an omelette station, menudo, tortilla and chilaqile station, and assorted buffet dishes (enchiladas, fish, chicken, ribs, beans,etc). They had desserts and many juices for 180 pesos. Mt friend had a ribete steak...withe potatoes and vegetables along with a spinach salad.They have a full bar. I had a Margarita that was very good.

There were only about five tables, two in front of us. We waited more than an hour for our meals and couldn't last longer. Another guest table behind us.

I was at the Hotel Estancia Inn for a few weeks. This restaurant belongs to the hotel, but it is not a typical hotel restaurant because it has a separate entrance. It also has a nice bar. The dining area is simple, tables and chairs that only cause a cold atmosphere. A little more interior architecture could do a lot. The food is of good quality. Delicious and fresh. The service is very friendly and attentive and as such is one of the better places in the city.

I've been here many times since they opened. Food has always been good and tasty. Staff is excellente, any time we have had any problem or odd request, they have gone out of their way to make thing right. Good quality is very good. Their...Sunday brunch is reasonable but limited in items. Their regular menu changes periodically and comes out with nice surprises.
