Old Town Grill - Tazewell

We hosted our daughter's birthday party in the back room at Old Town Grill, and it was a wonderful experience. We ordered a variety of appetizers, all of which were delicious. Our orders were taken promptly, and the food arrived without delay. Everyone at the party enjoyed the meal. The servers were attentive and provided great service throughout our time there. I highly recommend Old Town Grill as a fantastic spot for a meal with family and friends.

Initially, the waitress was quick to get my drink, but after placing my order, I waited about 25 minutes for my salad, which felt a bit too long. I could see that they were understaffed, so I chose not to complain. The salad was fresh and crispy, but I was surprised to find the grilled chicken lacked seasoning. It was not to my taste. I also found the sweet tea wasn't as sweet as I expected, so I added some sugar myself. Clearly, they could improve on making true Southern sweet tea. Despite these issues, the wonderful service from both the hostess and waitress was much appreciated, leading me to rate the experience at four stars. I deducted one star due to the wait time and the flavor of the chicken and tea. Overall, the restaurant was very clean, and the staff was friendly!

I had a terrible experience at this restaurant! We waited an hour for our food, and it wasn’t even busy. The waitress informed us that it would take about five more minutes because of the shrimp, but it shouldn’t take that long to prepare it. In the end, we waited a total of 1.5 hours. Most of the food was disappointing; the chicken and salmon were tough, and the steak was cooked well done when we had ordered it medium. The sides were cold, although the loaded potatoes were decent. The manager did offer us a complimentary dessert and a $7 family discount, but honestly, it wasn’t enough to make up for the poor experience. I definitely won’t be returning to this place.

Open Prime Rib Sandwich. It was said that it was a piece of Prime Rib and Gravy about potatoes and bread. The meat was just crispy, potatoes were barely warm, and waitress scratched on her nostril. Wont be back.

Showed up after it was suppose to be ready,called and told them i was there. Waited 15 minutes and called back. Abd they told me it was coming out, 15 minutes later it showed up. I told the waitress that they must have forgotten my order and she said sometimes they do that. My mashed Potatoes was good but cold. Salad,fries and baked potato was good. Steak tips and sinful chicken was not. No rolls or napkins.
