Davis Grocery Bbq - Taylor

Drove out from Bastrop based on the positive reviews. I must have gotten them on a bad day. Brisket was fair at best. The ribs were good. The pork was okay. Potato salad and the cabbage were the stars of the meal. Mac and cheese was sub par. Green beans tasted like they were out of a can. I was hoping for a better experience. I cannot recommend it and won't return. Hopefully you have a better experience.

Ribs and Brisket was outstanding. Green beans and pinto beans was some of the best I ever had.

Please don't tell anyone outside of Taylor about this place. This is our hidden gem for over 30 years. This is ours and ours alone. Let the tourists get their barbecue downtown. Everything they have on the menu is superb.

We had: Mutton, Sausage, brisket Side cabbage and potato salad with pickles We love them all! delicious! Friendly and lovely service.
