Hiraso - Tawaramoto

I have the set for ¥1600 and it was worth it! The citrus in the soup gave him a refreshing taste despite the hot temperature. It was also nice that there were not too many Kakinoha sushi, as I just wanted to try and it was not disappointed. The staff was also very friendly and attentive. Overall, an experience I wouldn't miss.

Visit for a dinner. I am not a big fan of mackerel or salmon myself, but I enjoyed the sushi and overall the experience was positive. I recommend visiting this restaurant from the nearby NARA Visitor Center Inn.

De-li-ci-ous! This place is amazing, and very well appreciated. The portions are huge! Try the leaf packed Sushi (Kakinoha) and the grilled mackerel sushi is heavenly!

I had a set meal that included 2 pieces of persimmon leaves sushi, which is Nara’s specialty for around ¥1,400. In my opinion, the sushi has tol much rice but it’s nice to feel the persimmon flavor from the leaves. The place was small and cozy and the staff was really nice.
