Antico Crotto - Tavordo

We were on a motorbike, without a reservation and we were lucky that another hotel (which was full) gave us this address! We arrived at 6 p.m. and had a very well equipped room with a balcony and a magnificent view of the lake! The setting is very beautiful and the place very well maintained (inside and outside). Each accommodation has a table, chairs and deckchairs in front of its door in the common garden. The breakfast place on the terrace is very pleasant. We ate at the restaurant, the dining room is exceptional, with a magnificent setting and a view of the lake and the mountains! We ate very well, main course and dessert well cooked and fine. The restaurant is very scenic, the vaulted ceiling room creates a beautiful romantic atmosphere, ideal for dinners for couples. The service could improve: they brought us a prosecco quite quickly as an aperitif, but then we had to ask for the menus to order dinner I had the mussels as an appetizer, which weren't the best (I would have added garlic and parsley) and the portion was a bit small; the first risotto with prawns and thyme really excellent, right portion. Great restaurant! It doesn't have a wide selection but the quality is really high. The platter of local cold cuts is very good and rich. Nicely made side dishes with dry fried foods and delicious sesame tuna. Very nice location overlooking the lake. I'll be back for sure. Service: 5 Location: 5 Hotel highlights: Great view
