Absolutely fantastic in every aspect. I had dinner here last night with my daughter and son. My son devoured his plate of smoked grilled ribs, while my daughter thoroughly enjoyed her brisket and vegetables. I loved my roast pork served with apple sauce—it was so delicious! The restaurant has a coastal beach vibe and is located right on the main street, just across from the beach. If you're in the area, you definitely need to stop by. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive!

I had a wonderful dining experience here. The meal was quick and delicious, and I appreciated the electronic menu system. I went for lunch with my wife, our twelve-year-old twins, and my 91-year-old mother-in-law. Everything was superb! The staff were excellent, and the food was outstanding. My mother-in-law, who is from Wales, said it was the best food she’s had in New Zealand!

Came here on a Saturday night. Restaurant was pack. I did not reserve any table, we came as a party of 2. However, the staff were amazing, they had us sitting on the bar and order first and move us to a table when there was an empty one. We ordered the sharing platter and everything on it taste amazing! Love the atmosphere and food! The price is pretty reasonable too! Will definitely be coming again

We ordered the meat platter for three and observed that the couple next to us had the platter for two, and there didn’t seem to be much difference between the two, aside from the price. That said, the food was delicious and filling. Although there were plenty of waitstaff on duty, they were a bit slow to inquire if customers wanted a second drink. I noticed some patrons had to go up to the bar to ask, and we also had to flag down one of the staff members to place our order.

Went there the day after Christmas. Amazing place, amazing food, great service, it is a unique experience going there. The brisket and the smoked lamb were both to die for! They just melted in our mouths! We also loved the Madeleine bread, so good Recommended to book before going, as pretty busy. So worth it, and can't wait to come back!
