Groovy Mount Maunganui

Visited here for brunch. It was our first time here and you could tell that the cafe is very popular. It was very busy and I could see some waiting for table to become free. We ordered a Longboarder, wedges, and a Turkish sandwich. Longboarder was our favorite the dish goes well with the cafe’s vibe. Wedges and sandwich were okay. Coffee was served well after the food which was a shame. The cafe was very busy at the time of visit and only one barista was rostered. So perhaps, drink orders were delayed. The cafe has unique interior, well resembling the passion for surfing in Mount Maunganui. Just be mindful that it can get quite busy. This place is worth visiting and would definitely recommend trying Longboarder.

Great Breakfast Spot in Mount Maunganui! Really happy we found Groovy while we were visiting the Mount. The food is fresh, hearty and very delicious. Cappuccinos are great.
