Ocean Fish Bar - Taunton

Never used this fish shop before so thought I would give it a spin. Only one size of fish and it's huge and for an amazing £6 one small portion of chips that could feed two for £2.60. Chips were amazing just like I remember them as a child the cod was delicious the batter was so crispy. A full satisfied young man all for £8.60. Other local fish shops should take note drop their already extortionate prices and up their game. This is my local from now on.

The fries were incredibly dry and all 5 dishes were ruined by the dry and reheated fries. We will not be returning to this restaurant anytime soon.

Make sure you come hungry when you visit this restaurant because the portions are enormous. They offer a special OAP meal that is larger than the small fish and chips you get at most chip shops. All dishes are freshly cooked to order.

I have been going to this Chip shop for the past 35 years , it's by far the Best Chip Shop around , it reasent times it has changed over to new family members and the standard of food and service did drop . But that has all been resolved and they are back to the old Very Good sandard of Food ..

My Food and friends food was soggy and fresh at all, Fish was so over cooked i had a job to eat it : Didn’t enjoy at all, will not be going back.
