A total disaster. We ordered everything online then we 're told everything we ordered was unavailable, even though it was available online and on the machine in the restaurant! In the end we asked the server what they did actually have, and she laughed at us and said 'No point in taking stuff off that machine as it puts it back on in half an hour ' When asked what I wanted I asked what they actually did have as there was no way of tell, this was followed by another tut. I was ready to walk out, but my wife is more forgiving and patient than I am. All this and the food hasn 't arrived yet, God knows what that 's going to be like. I regularly use Morrisons but will never use Taunton again, as they don 't have anything and to be honest the staff couldn 't care less. Update the food was average and on the dry side but still an improvement on the staff. Just the whole visit from a customer service point of view was a total disaster
Had breakfast and aunty had fish n chips. Cousin had overcooked fried eggs probably due to being kept warm under heat light. Mush peas were one solid lump inedible. My bacon was dried out also had hard fried eggs, dried out baked beans, burnt toast. Enough staff but no one seemed bothered about doing their job, no motivation, no pride in their job. It’s 7degrees outside today and there was no need for the air conditioning to be on. My aunty froze and was so cold her hands were unable to function. We were unable to carry on into town as she was too cold. NEVER AGAIN
Half empty restaurant, long wait 30 minutes for food, this will be the last time I eat here. Nearly 40 minutes wait.
I used to visit the cafe once a week hoping for improvement, but now the service is terrible. Before Covid, the service was quick and the cafe was tidy, but now it is filthy. The tables are dirty, there is nowhere to place trays, and there is a lack of utensils, condiments, and cups. Sometimes the hot drinks machines don't work, and the cups are often dirty. The menu is limited to breakfast items, which come out cold and undercooked. Recently, I waited 45 minutes for food and saw 5 people ask for refunds. Despite staff shortages and other pressures, the poor service is unacceptable. When issues are raised, customers are met with complaints and excuses, and refunds are rarely given. Some have even been asked to leave for voicing concerns. The service needs improvement. On a positive note, the Bridgwater store offers much better service with clean facilities, quick service, and hot food.
