Amici Gelato Café - Taubaté

Not many places you can get good quality handcrafted espresso in Taubate!!!

Lovely cheesecake that was served in a friendly manner. Good selection of ice creams. very well priced also.

The Amici is specialized in ice creams and special coffees. My review is for the ice creams. They are supposed to be Italian gelato style. However, based on the texture of the ice cream, I'm not sure they really are like that. They look like a regular ice cream. That being said, I can say the ice cream is delicious. There are a lot of flavors to choose. You can have one, two, or three flavors depending on the size of the cup you choose (small, medium or large). Good ice cream usually is not cheap and Amici is not an exception. It is a little bit expensive. that My experience in Amici was disappointing because of the service. When I went there, there was only one person to serve the ice cream and she was really overloaded. At one point, there was almost ten people waiting. This really needs to be improved.
