Worst place. Here on a Friday night at 9:15 am, pull out the name and was quoted 1:30 pm. Came back after 45 minutes to find that no one waited and we asked the hostess how much longer, and before we could even ask, she said the kitchen closed it. But we put our name down an hour ago. Oh, yeah, I called you. What's your name? How do you know our name by looking at us? We even called your phone number and no one answered *Pulls out phone* Nope, no calls. Funny, you never asked us about our phone number. Can we see a manager? Another girl said we could see if they kept the kitchen open for you, so we said okay. In the meantime, we waited for a manager to show up. Never happened. They put us down and said we had to order in 5 minutes before they were closed. We ordered a mango margarita. Someone else brought a strawberry margarita and we told them it was wrong. Then the bartender comes to the table personally and says you know Mango is much sweeter right? Yeah, but we ordered that, we never ordered a strawberry. Oh, okay. Our waitress comes back, I don't know why he came here to tell you that he just mixed everything. Basically, she went and instead of telling him that she got the order wrong, she gave it to us and said the first was much too sweet and we wanted a mango margarita instead. Accused the mistake with us. Anyway, ordered the food, food came out. Make sure that the kitchen went to an end in 5 minutes, but there was food for 45 minutes and even after we were ready to pay our bill. No manager showed himself to discuss what happened, provide a simple excuse or confirm that they are unable to work there. We left and never came back. My family and I are great foods, so this was a great disappointment. We will never return or recommend to come here. The place seemed like it had potential, but the food and service sucked in, and that's not what we pay.

Sol Y Luna has pretty good Mexican food. Not great, but it is worth going for lunch or if you rush before dinner, which every time after 6:00. You do not take reservations and it can wait very long. ALWAYS is full and loud. Parking is a stressful, unless you valet. Waiters are frenzied and therefore not excessively friendly or very attentive. So why are you sitting? I have decided that I prefer that the order seat in Las Fuentes is called Reseda and even Senior Sol in Northridge. Same owners, same food, calmer atmosphere and better for your digestion.

We were eventually seated and told we had to order in 5 minutes before they closed. We ordered a mango margarita, but were brought a strawberry one instead. When we complained, the bartender insisted that mango was sweeter, as if we didn't know what we had ordered. Our waitress blamed us for the mistake instead of taking responsibility. The food took forever to come out, even though the kitchen was closing soon. No manager ever appeared to address the issues or offer an apology. Our family, who love good food, was extremely disappointed and will never return or recommend this restaurant. The potential of the place was overshadowed by the terrible food and service we received. This is not what we expect when paying for a meal.

Sol Y Luna offers decent Mexican cuisine. It's not amazing, but it's worth checking out for lunch or arriving before the busy dinner rush, typically after 6pm. The restaurant does not accept reservations, so be prepared for a potentially long wait. It's always bustling and noisy, and parking can be a challenge unless you use the valet service. The waitstaff can seem rushed and may not be overly friendly or attentive. Considering these factors, I recommend trying the order-then-sit style of dining at Las Fuentes in Reseda or even Senior Sol in Northridge, as they have the same owners, menu, and offer a more relaxed atmosphere that may be easier on your digestive system.
